Hartwig Schulz (Edited By) Hartwig Schulz (PhD) studied chemistry in Bonn and Kiel (Germany). After completing his studies, he carried out several years research in the field of human nutrition (vitamin E, phytosterins, plant lipids) at the university of Kiel, Germany. Then, as head of an analytical department he worked 10 years for one of the worldwide largest perfume and flavor manufacturers (Symrise). From 1996 to 2019, he was the director and professor of a research institute under the responsibility of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture in Germany. Hartwig Schulz is author of 259 scientific articles and book chapters and as the president of the "German Society for Quality Research (DGQ)" he was also engaged 8 years in food research on a national and international level. Since his retirement, he is working as a consultant, especially in the field of "medicinal and aromatic plants" and is also supporting various development aid projects on a voluntary basis.Victor S Jayakumar (Edited By) Victor Sam Jayakumar (PhD) completed his masters and doctoral studies in physics at the University of Kerala (India). After graduation, he worked at Mar Ivanios College, University of Kerala as a lecturer in the Department of Physics, where he taught for more than three decades and carried out extensive research in the field of vibrational spectroscopy, including several years of studies on natural products with more than 65 research publications in reputed international journals. From 2005 to 2009, he was Professor and Head of the Postgraduate and Research Department of Physics at Mar Ivanios College, University of Kerala. From 2011, he worked as Director of Mar Baselios Institute of Technology Anchal (MBIT) for 10 years. Presently he is associated with St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology, Chengannur, India as Adjunct Professor and also engaged in promoting research innovations and collaborative project initiatives, supporting various projects relevant to social development through science.Niranjan Prasad (Edited By) Niranjan Prasad (PhD) did his BE (agricultural engineering) from CTAE, Udaipur, India (1988), and MTech (1991) and PhD from IIT, Kharagpur, India (1996). He obtained his post-doctoral training in smart/active packaging from Michigan State University, USA. He worked as a lecturer at NERIST, Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh, during 1996-1997. Later, he joined Indian Lac Research Institute, Ranchi, as an agricultural research service scientist in 1997 and presently works as a principal scientist and the head of Agri Bio-resources Augmentation Division at ICAR-National Institute of Secondary Agriculture, Ranchi, India. He is also working as a project coordinator of the All India Network Project on Conservation of Lac Insect Genetic Resources. He worked as a consortium principal investigator of the National Agricultural Innovation Project (World Bank) on Lac Value Chain. During his 28 years of experience in research and extension, he published 65 research papers in national and international journals. He has developed several tools and machines for gums and resins production and processing which have been commercialized. Dr. Prasad is member of several professional societies and recipient of many awards
