MY MEXICAN VACATION Spirit me to a place I've never been in love with A girl who loves me back Yeah right I spend this vacation Alone with everyone there & Me here at home rain Leaves the gray clouds above Saturates the dismal winter land Absolute boredom is the itinerary Of the day the salty spray Of the ocean on this cruise is Really just acid rain spattering Off the parked cars the concrete My steward pours coffee into a Paper cup for way over a buck I look at the yellow sun The palm trees & white sands The brochure in my hands & See you there with all your Friends & I on my Mexican Vacation miles away from Somewhere __ here __ all alone
