RAJESH JYOTISHI was born in Mumbai, India and has been living in Atlanta, GA, for the majority of his life. Rajesh has been in the insurance and financial-services industry for over twenty-five years and started his own firm, Shalin Financial Services in 1995, providing services in life/health insurance, employee benefits, and investments and financial planning. Rajesh was also one of the cofounders and president of Khabar magazine, a popular magazine for the Indian American community in Georgia and has been the host of the Moneywise column in the magazine since its inception.Rajesh has been through numerous professional-designation courses including the Certified Estate Planner, Master Certified Estate Planner, Certified Senior Advisor, Certified Long-Term Care Adviser, as well as the Financial Planner Program at Oglethorpe University. He currently does not hold any of the designations mentioned above for personal reasons. Ask him why if you get a chance to talk to him!
