AuthorA teacher for more than 20 years, father-of-two Danny Parker started writing picture books three years ago. His first book, Tree, secured him a notable award from the CBCA, while his third book, Parachute, was shortlisted for the CBCA Picture Book of the Year and was added to the prestigious White Ravens list. Danny holds an honours degree in theatre from Leeds University and a Diploma of Education and has recently been appointed as writer in residence at Hale School.IllustratorFreya Blackwood is one of the most talented children's illustrators in the world today.
