Marilyn Harvey is a qualified nurse and social worker who has been involved in the field of mental health since 1980. She has extensive experience working with adults and young people who have had short- and long-term mental health problems. More recently Marilyn has been involved in developing a variety of mental health promotion projects and courses. She is the author of a number of publications related to health and social care issues and has been involved in developing youth work projects for 18 years.
