Loving Oneness

On a dark rainy night, Martin hit a pedestrian with his car. In a panic Martin left the scene of the crime. A radiant light gleamed into Martin's eyes through the rear view mirror. The light mesmerized him. In the heart of the light a woman emerged. She knelt beside the fallen man and placed a hand on his forehead. The man sat up and then a brilliant flash blinded Martin. As quickly as the light had arrived, it left, and the two figures disappeared with it. At the next street corner, Martin turned the car right and his memory of the accident vanished immediately as his car rounded the corner.
