V. B. Sakhare is Professor at Post Graduate and Research Department of Zoology, Yogeshwari Mahavidyalaya, Ambajogai (Maharashtra). He has 26 years' experience as an outstanding teacher and researcher and has done pioneering work in the field of Reservoir Fisheries, Limnology and Fish Biology. Prof. Sakhare has successfully organized more than 7 conferences and workshops.Prof. Sakhare is member of Board of Studies in Zoology of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Walchand College of Arts and Science, Solapur (Autonomous college). Prof. Sakhare has authored/edited more than 45 books. He is a recognized research guide of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, and Solapur University, Solapur.His exemplary qualifications and experience in the field of 'Inland Fisheries' has benefited to several students as well as fish farmers and produced 4 Doctoral candidates, as also led to publications to spread his knowledge across diaspora.Santosh Kumar Abujam obtained Master's degree in Life Sciences (Zoology) from Dibrugarh University (DU), Assam. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by the same University. Dr. Abujam has gathered long experience in diverse areas of fisheries research through several pre-doctoral and post-doctoral assignments respectively as a Project Fellow (ICAR-NBFGR Lucknow sponsored); Junior Research Fellow (MoEF, New Delhi sponsored); Post Doctoral Research Associate (DBT & DST New Delhi sponsored) and a Guest Faculty in the Department of Geology (Zoology-a subsidiary subject), RGU from August, 2017 to May, 2019. Presently, he has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology, Pravabati College, Mayang Imphal West, Manipur (India). He has been able to publish more than 80 research articles; 05 books and 15 articles in book chapter/proceedings by virtue of his deep involvement in fishery research.V. Ravi is an Associate Professor of Marine Biology at Annamalai University with a focus on Fish Biology and Ecology. After earning a Ph.D. from the Centre of Advanced Study in Marine Biology, Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu in 2000, Dr. Ravi was recognized with the Prof. R.V. Seshaiyas Gold Medal for the Universitys Best Thesis. He has over twenty years of teaching experience and over twenty-five years of research experience. To his credit, he has had more than 50 research papers published in peer-reviewed national and international journals and he has also authored a book titled 'Practical Manual on Keys to Marine Fish Identification'. In addition, he has guided five students for their M.Phil. and six for their Ph.D. He has successfully completed the major research project funded by UGC and MOEFCC. In 2016, he traveled to Australia, where he visited the Great Barrier Reef, the largest coral reef system in the world, and noted its biodiversity. Besides, he has held a deputation position in the Zoology Department at the Govt. College for Women in Kumbakonam since 2017. Currently, he is serving in the Zoology Department at Periyar Arts College (affiliated to Annamalai University) in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu
