Kennebunkport Recollections

Grace Hanson grew up in Kennebunkport, then a village, which was a popular summer resort for rich people early in the 1900s. After she retired from being a grammar school teacher, she wrote a number of articles for a local publication (The Star) describing various aspects of her childhood there. It is a warm, personal and fascinating glimpse of life in that time.
