US Deputy Marshal Caitlyn Reed, and her K9 partner, Renegade, are tasked with guarding a federal judge in an obscure court in north-western Wyoming. What should be a boring assignment soon explodes into an all-out catastrophe when a killer makes several attempts on the judge's life.

Sheriff Colt Branson chases cattle thieves and ends up on the trail of the murderous drug pushers who killed a local convenience store clerk. He and his deputy follow their trail all the way up to the Crow Reservation in Montana.
