Dr. Nidhi Saxena is a distinguished legal scholar and researcher specializing in cybercrime, human rights, and intellectual property. She earned her Ph.D. in 2009 from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, focusing on “Cyber Crime - Misuse of Electronic Technology - A Legal Study in the Light of Human Rights.” Dr. Saxena has contributed to significant projects, including examining the role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in human trafficking from North East India into Myanmar, funded by the ASEAN Studies Centre and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, and implementing people-centric e-Governance services in Sikkim under the Digital India Plan. Funded by ICSSR, Delhi Currently, she is researching human trafficking on the Dark Web, with a focus on youth awareness in Sikkim, funded by Sikkim University.With a prolific publication record, Dr. Saxena has edited six books and published extensively in national and international journals. She has presented papers in national, international, and foreign conferences and seminars. Her work has been recognized for its contributions to legal scholarship at the intersection of technology, law, and human rights.
