Jews on Route to Palestine, 1934–1944 – Sketches From the History of Aliyah Bet′Clandestine Jewish Immigration

Artur Patek is professor of history at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, specialising in the history of the British Mandate for Palestine as well as in Polish emigration in the 20th century. His books (in Polish) include Great Britain's Policy Towards the State of Israel During the First Arab-Israeli War, May 1948 -- January 1949 (2002). He is the Chief Editor of the "Prace Historyczne" ("History Notebooks") yearbook.

The work contains a lot of crucial information enhancing our knowledge of seemingly familiar facts.
