Ghazanfar Latif is a highly motivated and qualified professional with over 11 years of experience in higher education, encompassing teaching, research, innovation, curriculum development, and academic administration. He holds 13 U.S. patents in fields including Artificial Intelligence, Assistive Technologies, Medical Imaging, Computer Vision, LLMs, Internet of Things (IoT), Robotics, and Deep Learning. Since 2017, he has published over 110 research articles including over 50 impact factor journals, and has received 2,307 citations. His contributions have been recognized through several prestigious international awards, including a Gold Medal at the 49th Innovation Exhibition in Geneva and first place at the NEOM Oxagon Hackathon in Saudi Arabia, both for innovations in assistive technology related to his current research. He became an IEEE Senior Member in 2025 and serves as a co-editor special issues of different impact factor journals. He is also an editorial board member of Discover Artificial Intelligence, a Springer Nature journal. Additionally, Dr. Latif has successfully co-organized three IEEE international research conferences in 2020, 2022, and 2024.Jaafar Alghazo working as an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota Crookston. Before this, he was a Research Associate Professor under the Artificial Intelligence Research Initiative at the University of North Dakota's College of Engineering and Mines. Alghazo earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (SIUC), Illinois. Before joining UND, he was an Associate Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington. Alghazo’s research interests are focused on Artificial Intelligence. He has authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed journal papers, more than 35 conference papers, several book chapters, and a US patent.
