This book incorporates a discussion on the theme of inclusion and visual impairment at second level. It comprises a case study of a final year student as he tried to cope with his Leaving Certificate exams after having lost his eyesight only months previous. Qualitative interviewing of the key stakeholders in the inclusion process took place and the findings of the 3 most pertinent interviews are analysed. The findings revealed many implications for future provision. Undoubtedly, there is a necessity for genuine partnership and collaboration. Without parental support and the equal distribution of shared onus amongst all parties involved, inclusion will remain an ideal and not a lived reality.
