Paige Freeborn (Author) Paige Freeborn is a highly experienced IB educator with expertise across the MYP, CP, and DP programmes. She teaches at Brockton School, an inclusive IB World School in North Vancouver, Canada, where her work centres on Arts education, community engagement, and social, emotional, and ethical learning. Throughout her career, Paige has demonstrated a deep commitment to fostering intercultural understanding and socio-ecological responsibility through both her scholarship and educational practice. She has contributed to the development of IB's Community Engagement curriculum and associated workshops, supporting educators and students in building meaningful connections within and beyond the classroom.Marjorie Vautrin (Author) Marjorie Vautrin is an experienced IBDP and IBCP educator. She teaches French B, TOK, and Language and Cultural Studies, and serves as Extended Essay Coordinator. Deeply committed to education, she leads IB workshops to share her expertise with the global IB community. Her enthusiasm for languages and cultures enriches her different classes across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.Susan Stewart (Author) Susan Stewart has lived and worked in South Africa, Thailand, the UAE, Belgium, Oman, Sweden and the UK, and speaks, to varying degrees, English, French, Dutch, German, Afrikaans, Swedish, Arabic and BSL. Susan has a background in international education, leading multilingual language programmes in IB World Schools. Susan was a curriculum developer for the new LCS course. She has a particular interest in language policy as a driving force in promoting multilingualism within families, schools and on a national level.Rebecca Austin Pickard (Author) Rebecca Austin Pickard is an experienced IB educator working extensively across both the CP and DP programmes. She was IBCP coordinator in the early pilot stages of the CP and has supported many schools globally establish the CP. Nowadays, she works full-time as a consultant, workshop leader, and developer for the IB, as well as the author of ThinkIB's CP site.Lola Robledo (Author) Lola Robledo is a highly experienced IB educator with over 35 years of teaching experience in Spain, Portugal, Venezuela and Switzerland. She has held the position of MYP Service Action, DP CAS and CP Service Learning Coordinator, as well as IB DP World Languages Coordinator at the International School of Geneva in Switzerland. She teaches Spanish and has extended experience as an IB examiner and Workshop Leader.Becky Duffy (Author) Becky Duffy is a passionate advocate for the IB Career-related Programme (CP), serving as both a CP Coordinator and Personal and Professional Skills (PPS) Teacher at a high-achieving, comprehensive high school in Pennsylvania. As a Subject Matter Expert, she has dedicated extensive effort to developing the PPS curriculum, the PPS Teacher Supported Materials, and the IB PPS workshops for new and veteran teachers alike. She has over 21 years of teaching, instructional coaching and educational leadership experience.Angie Nastovska (Author) Dr. Angie Nastovska is an innovative educational leader committed to transforming learning through inquiry, equity, and authentic practice. She currently serves as the Director of Curriculum and Assessment at iLEAD Schools, an Adjunct Professor at United States University, a global consultant for the International Baccalaureate, and an IB workshop leader. Dr. Nastovska designs and implements programs that empower both educators and students, drawing on her expertise in curriculum development, project-based learning, competency-based education, and systemic school transformation. Her work focuses on cultivating future-ready, compassionate learners equipped with the transversal skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
