Ground Water

This proceedings, ""Symposium on Ground Water"", contains papers presented at the International Symposium on Ground Water in Practice, held in Nashville, Tennessee, July 29-August 2, 1991. It reviews the state of the art and presents the latest findings in ground water research. These findings are the results of the use of mathematical, numerical or physical models, and field investigations. They cover such topics as: review of numerical flow/transport/geochemical models and the reliability of their predictions, ground water quality and quantity management, risk assessment for ground water pollution control, macrodispersion field experiments and other cases, non-point source contamination of ground water, and 6) aquifer, slug, and tracer field tests. This collection of papers provides the civil engineer with a review of the field and guidelines to future development.
