This title was first published in 2001: This in-depth analysis of the foreign policy behaviour of Greece and Spain, draws conclusions on the role and influence that the two southern member states have had at different times. Dimitrios Kavakas, Dr, History and International Relations Department, CEDEFOP, Greece. After studying journalism in the beginning of the 1990s in Greece I worked as a political correspondent for a Greek TV and Radio Station and as a Press Officer in the Ministry of Defence. Later I got a degree in International Politics from Wales (Aberystwyth) and I did a PhD research in Leeds. During my time in Leeds University I was employed as a research officer. In 2000 I returned to Greece where I work as a Press & Public Relations Officer for an EU agency and teach European Politics part-time at the American College of Thessaloniki. This is the first book I am publishing but I have a number of conference papers, one research papers published, one journal article and a chapter in an edited book.
