FROM THE HEART is a collection of poetry written over an 18-month period. John began to write as part of his journey through midlife...he had left a job he loved and was preparing to move away from the farm where four generations of his family had lived. These poems reflect his inner thoughts against a backdrop of rural life, family, and the larger world.
