Femoral Head and Neck Anatomy and Pathology

The head and neck of the femur manifest several lesions, which are unique to the hip joint. Despite their clinical significance, very little is known about their etiology and pathophysiology. In the current book, we classify these lesions anatomically, characterize them demographically, and decipher their etiology and pathophysiology. This book is important to both clinicians and scientists interested in evolutionary medicine, pathology, population biology, anthropology and hip biomechanics.
