Residency in Dermatology at Sanitary Dermatology Ambulatory (SDA) - Department of Health of Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil (1979-1981). Board-certified dermatologist (1982) and member of Brazilian Society of Dermatology. Member of the Sanitary Dermatology Outpatient Clinic of SDA (since 2998) where he has also been involved as Supervisor of Dermatology Residency training program. Master in Medicine by UFRGS (2001). Former president of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology – Division of Rio Grande do Sul State (2005-2006).
