The patterns come in written and chart format. This means that any type of crocheter can give the patterns a go. The book start with the core techniquesof crocheting. It goes through all the basic stitches used and how to make them. There are step-by-step instructions and pictures. Then it's straight into the beautiful snowflake patterns. You will be amazed at how something so simple as a snowflake can look so different with each design. At the back of the book there is the most amazing projects for you to make inlcuding Lavender Sachets, Coasters, Child's Dress. I would highly recommend this book. It offers so many beautiful snowflake patterns and beautiful ways to use them all year round.
