Arthur Ruegg graduated as an architect from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. He had his own architectural studio, ARCOOP, between 1971-98 and was a professor for architecture and building construction at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich from 1991-2007. He has published widely on architecture and architectural history in books and journals and is a renowned expert on the work of Le Corbusier. Klaus Spechtenhauser graduated in art history and Slavonic literature and linguistics. He has published widely on 20th-century cultural and architectural history, including the book 'Charles-Edouard Jeanneret/Le Corbusier. Maison Blanche: History and Resortation of the Villa Jeanneret-Perret 1912-2005' (together with Arthur Ruegg).
