Alexa Templeton is the UK-based amigurumi designer behind Lex in Stitches. Since she started designing patterns in 2018, Lex’s work has been featured in multiple publications, including Simply Crochet Magazine, Zoomigurumi, and other collaborative amigurumi books. Lex’s main inspiration comes from her daughters and British wildlife. Her favorite animals to crochet and knit are badgers, which oddly do not feature in this book. She lives on the UK’s south coast with her family and black labrador called Onyx. When not crocheting, she works as a vascular surgeon and drinks far too much coffee.
