Tin chemistry is an area of active industrial and academic research, with the element and its compounds having a wide range of applications. Responding to this interest, this work brings together an international panel of authors, who have overhauled, updated and expanded the coverage of the first edition, to provide a concise and timely review of the many aspects of tin chemistry. Primarily written for the industrial or academic inorganic or organometallic chemist, the book should be of interest to analytical and organic chemists, metallurgists and biochemists. It should also be of interest to technical directors of companies selling or utilizing organotin and/or inorganic tin compounds or, more generally, any metal-containing compounds; lecturers in inorganic and organometallic chemistry in most universities; and PhD students and postdoctoral workers.
