This first work is a coming out party of poetry. And the party is all about our individual lives - things we have seen and the wonderful people that have influenced us. The poems are relatively short and to the point. It isn't at all dry and overly drawn out. If you've read and enjoyed poems of Langston Hughes, then you will appreciate this compilation. Each poem was written with words that evoke emotion and imagery- the author did not resist the rich reservoir of beautiful words.
