John Borrego is an Associate Professor of Community Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he teaches global political economy, regional integration, and community development. His current research is focused on how North American integration and transnational production are restructuring daily life at the community level. Alejandro Alvarez Bejar is a Professor of Economics at the National University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City. (co-authored). Jomo K. S. is Professor in the Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur.
