Maria da Glória Garcia is Emeritus Full Professor of Public Law at the Catholic University of Portugal, where she has also previously held the position of Dean of the Law Faculty and Rector of the University. Maria da Glória is a full member of the Academy of Sciences of Portugal, and her main fields of research are Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Environmental Law, and Public Policy Law.António Cortês is Professor of Law at the Catholic University of Portugal, where he is Coordinator of the PhD Program in Law. He also coordinates the line of research: “See the Future: Sea, Environment and Natural Resources” at the Católica Research Centre for the Future of Law. His main fields of research are Philosophy of Law, General Principles of Law, Fundamental Rights and Human Rights, and Global Environmental Law.
