Anniversary

It has been 25 years since Travis Green rampaged through the small town of Hartstead, shooting eleven people dead at random. Cassie Coleman was only four when Travis killed his last victim - the father she barely knew. As an adult she fled to London, desperate to escape the shadow of her family's tragedy.

But when her mum is diagnosed with dementia, Cassie, now a single mother herself, is forced to return home with her baby daughter to care for her. With the anniversary of the shooting looming, a local journalist is trying to rake everything up again, yet Cassie is determined not to be sucked into the past.

Until a strange discovery amongst her mother's possessions throws into question everything she thought she knew about Travis Green and her father's death. And on her quest for answers, Cassie realizes the past is a complicated thing. Some can't remember, some don't want to.

And some will do anything to ensure it stays buried . . .
