Dr. Manuela Mura is senior lecturer at the University of Lincoln and is a Computational physicist. She holds a PhD from King’s College London UK and has frequent collaborations with the universities of Nottingham, Oxford, CAE Saclay in France, and the University of Aarus in Denmark. She is an expert in a variety of computer simulation techniques in Condensed Matter Physics such as quantum mechanics ab-initio tools to reproduce self-assembled supra-molecular assemblies on metallic and semiconducting surfaces and classical molecular dynamics tools to study the interaction of antimicrobial peptides with modelled lipid bilayer membrane. Dr. Fabien Paillusson is associate professor at the University of Lincoln UK and is a theoretical and computational physicist. He holds a PhD from the University Paris Sorbonne (formerly Pierre and Marie Curie University) in France and has worked in institutions such as the University of Cambridge and the University of Durham in the UK. He has extensive research in applications of statistical physics to electrolyte solutions. More generally, his research interests lie in statistical physics, its foundations and applications.
