Gordon R Clarke is an international authority on digital banking and financial policy. However, he also enjoys writing stories and poems, playing the guitar and performing in comedy revues. He has an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and a PhD in Applied Physics from City University in London. Born and brought up in south-east London, Gordon has worked in five continents for major consulting firms and his own Singapore-based company, and lived in eight countries, which creates the backdrop for his writing. He now spends his free time mainly in Thailand and Greece. During his career, he has published three technical books, many articles on behavioural economics, payment technology, cryptocurrencies and artificial intelligence and philosophical papers on science and religion.
