Emily A. Sellars is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Yale University. Her work has been published in leading journals in political science and economics, including the American Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, World Politics, Journal of Development Economics and Journal of Urban Economics, among others. Sellars is a co-editor of and regular contributor to the Broadstreet blog and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Historical Political Economy. She previously served on the Board of Directors for the Society for Institutional and Organizational Economics. Sellars received a joint Ph.D. in Political Science and Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
