The Alleged American

Mesfin Abebe; a New York businessman traveled to East Africa, as an investor, and returned to the US, nine years later, barely, alive. While there, he ran computer training centers, until, he was approached by a group of gangsters, who try to make him pay, 'good will' and 'protection' fees, for his operations. When he refused to comply, he's dragged through hell: illegal arrests, confinements and harassments; followed by yet more capture, hairbreadth escapes, constantly shielding endless murder attempts on his life. The crime group; assisted by the security force of the police; 'The Special Branch'; forced him to live a life of a fugitive, he could not survive; fighting battles he could not win. When he turned to the US Embassy for refuge; he is denied his citizenship rights by a bigot consul; ignored by a conceited ambassador and thrown out, to fend for himself. Striped off, of his citizenship; betrayed, by his own government; Mesfin had to find ways to stay alive, at any cost.
