Smiley is one of Bright Buddies' characters that was born with cerebral palsy. As a result, Smiley had lots of difficulties in life including walking or flying and even some simple tasks such as grabbing plates from cabinets. However, through the support of her family and her own high strong spirit, Smiley learned about her secret power that made her a hero in this story book. The power of Never Giving Up. Just like Smiley, we hope that all kids and even adults learn that while life has many ups and downs, it is our attitude towards our daily challenges that can make us our own super-hero.
