Sd.Kfz. 251

A large collection of high-quality photos show this WWII half-track in action and in technical detail. The Sonderkraftfahrzeug 251, or Sd.Kfz. 251, is one of the more recognizable and widely produced armored vehicles built for the Wehrmacht during the Second World War. Among the many variants, more than 10,000 units were produced, and the type saw combat throughout the entirety of the conflict.  This work is a pictorial history of the vehicle. Through an array of several hundred high-resolution photos, readers will gain insight into how the 251 was designed and built, but also how it was utilized in combat. The volume is also helpful in the identification and differentiation of the various submodels, which are numerous.
