Born in Ohio, she now calls Florida home.Julie Sawyer Phillips is an illustrator who lives in Kansas City with her husband, two children, and their fluffy black-and-white cat, Chip. Julie was a staff artist for DaySpring Cards for many years, working on card lines such as Really Woolly and Sweet Springs. She now freelances from home, illustrating children's books and greeting cards. Julie is inspired by God's beautiful creation, and she often drags the family outside for a bike ride, boating adventure, or winter wonderland hike.
