Numerical Modeling in Combustion

This book describes different numerical methods for applications in three particular fields: laminar flames, turbulent flames, and spray droplet combustion. It begins with an introduction on numerical modeling and general forms of governing equations in combustion. It also introduces options of numerical techniques to solve reactive flow problems in general, and combustion problems in particular. Basic numerical strategies are discussed, and certain example problems are selected for evaluation of the numerical methods and physical aspects of combustion.
