This book delves into the past and present of South African liberation movements, exploring how they intertwine movement theory and practice rooted in diaspora experiences, cultural production, anti-apartheid activism, and transnational solidarity. Authored by individuals deeply connected to the liberation struggle, many contributors have been mentored by anti-apartheid activists and exiles, while others were pivotal figures in the global anti-apartheid movement themselves.
