Inventions

The topics covered in this series are specifically chosen to help children to develop a sense of 'awe and wonder'. They are topic that children and teachers love and now meet perfectly the need of a more creative curriculum. Each topic is closely keyed into the requirements of different subjects in the national curriculum to provide a cross-curricular project. The books can also be used to provide additional activities to topics and modules already established in a school to generate extra interest. Activities are provided for children aged from 5 to 11 - enabling teachers to find activities at a level suitable for all their children - extending the more able and supporting the less able. This also means that the books are ideal for teachers who have to teach mixed aged classes and enables topics to be used throughout the whole key stage or school.
