Gemma Barder lives in Market Harborough, Leicester, with her family and a mischievous cocker spaniel. She started life working in children’s and pre-teen magazines before moving into the world of publishing. Sally’s work shows a love of colour, character design and a keen eye for intricate detail. She currently specialises in children’s illustration for books and products. Sally loves to create characters that live in their own little whimsical worlds and she loves to draw penguins and dinosaurs in particular!
