Riccardo Tesser graduated from the University of Naples "Federico II" in Industrial Chemistry in 1989 with a thesis on vapour-liquid equilibrium. Between 1991 to 1999, he worked at Montefibre Research Centre of Acerra (NA), researching DMT (dimethylterephthalate) production and batch and continuous polymerization of PET. In 2000, he became an assistant professor in industrial chemistry at the University of Naples "Federico II" in the research group of Professor Santacesaria. His main field of research focused on industrial catalysis and kinetic studies of complex reactions in multi-phase reactors. The results of his scientific activities have been published in over 161 papers, 4 book chapters, 3 books 20 italian patents, 16 international patents, 4673 total citations by 3549 documents.
