To All the Friends I Left Behind

We usually question ourselves why no one believes us? Or perhaps, we are exhausted with the people who only think poorly about our existence. They make us feel like we cannot modify our life or there's no room for our development.
The truth is, we've been improving our life since the day we realize we are not doing good things anymore. We chose to enrich ourselves because we acknowledge that changes have to be done and we successfully did it.
We are stuck in the ideology that our past defines us but it is untrue. We left all the bad things in the past because we want to start new and that's the right thing to do.
We left behavior, things, memories, and people behind on the basis that it is the proper way to do things, especially when it comes to shaping our future.
If I can only turn back the time, I will not rewrite any of my memories and experiences because that's what makes me the man I am today. I will no longer focus on my history but I will look forward to my fate, building a legacy.
Yesterday is just a narrative, and tomorrow is a dream.
