This book is an investigation into human activities threatening Crested Cranes' habitat, an examination of the role of the wetland habitat on the preservation of threatened Crested Crane species, and identification of People's Perceptions on Crested Crane's habitat and mitigation measures for Crested Crane's habitat regeneration is reported.Extremism of human activities on wetlands significantly reduced populations of Crested Cranes in the urbanising Fort Portal Municipality now that turned into the city on the 1st of July 2020. The Target population was 44900 people of Fort Portal municipality and the sample size was set according to Roscoe's rule of thumb (cited in Sekoran, 2003) where a random sample of 100 people was sampled from areas neighbouring Nyakimya and Mugunu streams. In summation, human activities and habitat loss collectively threatened Crested Crane populations and efforts to eradicate and the Municipality does not have a functional sewer line. Granted that Fort Portal is now a tourism city, Papyrus planting, a restocking of crested cranes, wetland regeneration shall boost the cultural tourism of the People of the Toro Kingdom at large.
