Dr. Sheraz Ahmad earned a Ph.D. in Textile Engineering from Université de Haute Alsace Mulhouse, France, specialising in textile fibres. With over 73 peer-reviewed journal articles, 5 books, and 23 conference presentations, he supervises Ph.D. and MS engineering students, with 2 Ph.D. and 31 MS students completing their degrees under his guidance. He has led 6 funded R&D projects and developed innovative technologies, such as a mechano-chemical process for banana fibre extraction licensed to Interloop Ltd. Additionally, his team developed eco-friendly methods for extracting fibres like Sisal for clothing applications.
