Monèm Jemni is one of the leading figures within the gymnastics world, he was himself a gymnast and practiced this sport for 18 years. He naturally and progressively continued his career to become a high-level coach in parallel to his academic career. He coached in Paris and participated in shaping up the French males national squad as a scientist at the National Institute of Sport (INSEP, Paris) alongside the national coaches. He contributed in the making off of an Olympic Games medalist in Beijing 2008 and became one of the FIG academy tutors for high-level coaches. He also passed by the USA Olympic Training Centre in Colorado Springs for a PostDoc before moving to the UK where he occupied academic positions at Leeds Beckett, Anglia Ruskin, Greenwich and Cambridge University. He provided support consultancies and services to different teams and individuals. Professor Jemni occupied key positions in Qatar, in the UK and more recently in the US where he continued his teaching and research activities as an exercise physiologist for clinical health and performance.
