Dr. Mohamed Ksibi, Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry (1993, University of Poitiers), is a Full Professor at Sfax's Higher Institute of Biotechnology (ISBS), Tunisia. Since 2009, he has made significant contributions to environmental chemistry and sustainability, focusing on the elimination and toxicity of persistent organic pollutants in water and soil. He has mentored 15 M.Sc. and supervised 16 Ph.D. theses. Dr. Ksibi has co-authored over 117 research papers, 8 book chapters, and co-edited three books. He has held leadership roles at ISBS, including Director of the Biotechnology and Health Department and Deputy Director. Since 2017, he has been the General Chairman of the Euro-Mediterranean Conference on Environmental Integration (www.emcei.net). In 2023, Stanford University recognized him as one of the top 2% of scientists worldwide.
