Goose is undeniably one of the most valuable and prospective genetic resources in Bangladesh. Overall body length, wing span, shank length, beak length and head length of mature indigenous goose were 73.470.95, 134.531.38, 9.270.09, 8.880.10 and 6.420.02 cm, respectively. Overall body weight of indigenous goose at day old, 2-week, 1-month, 2-month and 10-month of age were 95.450.88 gm, 148.591.55 gm, 407.347.27 gm, 1.190.03 kg and 3.650.06 kg, respectively. Overall egg weight, egg length, egg width, incubation period, clutch size, number of eggs in a breeding season and age at first egg were 131.851.70 gm, 7.400.02 cm, 5.220.02 cm, 30.300.07 days, 7.420.08, 20.520.38 and 313.223.03 days, respectively. The general focus of this study is to be a part of the ongoing worldwide study in this field. Specifically, it is meant for delivering an insight into the real condition of geese production in Bangladesh about which more research and development initiative is an imperative. It would show some way forward to future research work, and give some guidance and implications to the practitioners and farm owners.
