Perry & Perky's Fun-Filled Adventures

“Perry & Perky’s Fun-Filled Adventures” contains ten delightful five-minute stories about Perry, a resourceful pygmy-possum, and Perky, an adventurous quokka.  It is also available as two separate books in paperback, hardback, and eBook: “Nobody’s Friend (But that’s not where it ends!)” and “Perry and Perky–the Adventures Continue”.   All stories contain subtle life lessons.  They are primarily designed to be read to children up to seven years of age but older children who are good readers may enjoy reading them too.  The 24 beautiful illustrations in the book are from watercolour paintings by acclaimed Australian artist, Emma Stuart.  They include part-page, full page and double page spreads.  The book is 8 inches x 10 inches (20.3cm x 25.4cm).  It has 66 pages and is available in paperback, hardback and eBook (.mobi).  The paperback and hardback are perfect bound (glued spine) and printed with Standard Colour.

Synopsis:  Perry the pygmy-possum wakes up after several weeks—which he calls his torpor-time—to find that the land where he lives has been cleared.  He’s all alone and he sets out to find a friend.  He meets Perky, an adventurous quokka, and together they travel anywhere and everywhere by train, aeroplane, brumby, truck, motor bike, ship and spaceship, enjoying life and making a difference wherever there is an opportunity to do so.
