Zhiyu Jiang is currently a Professor of Structural Engineering at the University of Agder, Norway. He has a Ph.D. in Marine Technology and is the research group leader of "Engineering Structures" at the Faculty of Engineering and Science. He has served on the editorial board of multiple international journals and has been listed as a highly cited scientist by Stanford University between 2023 and 2025. He has research interests in marine structures and renewable energy devices. In recognition of his contribution to offshore renewable energy, he was elected as a member of the Norwegian Academy for Technological Sciences in 2024. As of 2026, Dr. Jiang has authored more than 100 research articles related to offshore wind energy.Amrit Verma is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maine (Orono, USA) and the director of the Wind Energy and Marine Operations (WEMO) Lab. He received his Ph.D. in Marine Technology and has extensive experience in offshore wind energy and marine operations. His research integrates experimental, computational, and data-driven approaches to advance the design, reliability, and performance of offshore wind systems, with a particular focus on marine operations and digital twin technologies. Dr. Verma has led and collaborated on multiple projects funded by agencies such as NSF, DOE, and DoD, and actively contributes to workforce development initiatives in offshore wind energy. As of 2026, Dr. Verma has authored more than 40 research articles related to offshore wind energy.
