Dr. Zhiyu Jiang is an Associate Professor of Structural Engineering at the University of Agder, Norway. He has a Ph.D. in Marine Technology and is the leader of the Engineering Structures research group at the Faculty of Engineering and Science. Dr. Jiang’s research interests include marine structures and renewable energy devices. He currently serves on the editorial board of five international journals, and, as of April 2023, Dr. Jiang has authored over 80 research articles related to offshore wind energy.Dr. Amrit Shankar Verma is currently an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering, as well as the director of the Wind Energy and Marine Operations (WEMO) lab, at the University of Maine, United States. His expertise lies at the intersection of dynamics, control, and mechanics of composite materials for offshore wind energy applications. Dr. Verma and his WEMO lab employ a combination of experimental, analytical, numerical, and stochastic approaches to optimize the efficiency, reliability, and safety of offshore wind turbines, their components and related marine operations. As of April 2023, Dr. Verma has authored 27 research articles related to offshore wind energy.
