The 1994 genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda is among top 10 genocides over the World that caused a big number of deaths. During this genocide, between 100,000 and 250,000 women and girls were raped. Rape is used as a tactic of war and genocide because of its physical and psychosocial consequences for individuals, families, and communities. For facing consequences of Genocide, the Government of Rwanda promoted the rights to life for all by promoting initiatives in line with social integration in Rwanda post- genocide. SEVOTA Associations is one among those initiatives. The uniqueness of SEVOTA consists of having oriented its core activities in improving the social integration of genocidal raped mothers survivors and their children born from rape and sexual violence during the genocide. After so long journey of integration through SEVOTA Associations, the present research aims at assessing the current state of psychosocial integration of raped mothers survivors and children born of genocidal rape and sexual violence during the 1994 Genocide against Tutsi in Rwanda.
