Lillian is having a great time with Henry: he's charming, well-educated, and exactly the kind of guy she'd like to end up with. That is, until she stays the night at his flat and they end up in a huge argument. Furious, Lillian decides to seek revenge on Henry by performing a drunken YouTube hex on him. But then Henry actually ends up dead. As the Boston police investigate Henry's death, Lillian discovers she wasn't the only woman in his life - and to cope with this reckoning, she plunges into a new obsessions. When the journey takes Lillian to ever darker places, she begins to uncover things she dearly wishes had stayed under wraps.
