»Functional Self-Administration and State Supervision in German Health Insurance Law. Limits of Legislation on Supervision in Statutory Health Insurance. An Analysis and Classification of the Self-Administration Strengthening Act«: With the »Self-Administration Strengthening Act«, the control powers over the highest organisations of German Health Insurance have been substantially expanded. This is the reason for analysing and classifying the reform legislation in the relation between functional self-administration and state supervision in German Health Law. In addition, suggestions are made as to how a strengthening of functional self-administration can already succeed with the existing supervisory instruments.
